Lucy and I were first cousins and we grew up together. We were three months apart to the day and she was the academic college graduate of the family. She loved school and college and I endearingly called 'City College her school' since it was her pride and joy. She would give me advice on schooling and job opportunities and was a big influence of mine. She was the family member who took on the big roll of keeping it fluent. Her life took a turn and she slipped away from reality and now she's with family that was her whole life existence. Miss her tough and our so very different ways and lifestyles. Hard to measure the loss.
